The Chingaza National Natural Park is located in the Eastern Cordillera of the Andes northeast of Bogotá and is home to white-tailed deer, the andean or spectacled bears, and was also a sacred place for the indigenous Muisca communities that inhabited the territory. Chingaza has ecosystems of high Andean forests and tundra, which are of great importance since they produce 80% of water to supply the capital's population. Do not miss the opportunity to see these extraordinary landscapes in Colombia and maybe if you are lucky, you will see the only species of bear that live in South America.
